Stiles Environmental is an environmental and industrial hygiene consulting firm, specializing in asbestos and lead-based paint investigations, industrial hygiene services, indoor air quality, mold and methamphetamine testing. We provide Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments, soil and water testing as well as abatement and remediation oversight. Mobile field offices enable our employees to provide a quicker response time to clients. Our ability to read samples on site enables us to reduce client costs and provide immediate testing results to our clientele.

Scott Stiles
Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
Scott Stiles, founded Stiles Environmental and Industrial Hygiene along with wife/Co-owner Renee in 2009. Scott holds a BS in Resource & Environmental Studies from Texas State University. Scott, a Certified Industrial Hygienist with the American Board of Industrial Hygiene, is an alumni of the Montana Tech/University of Montana Graduate School Industrial Hygiene Program.
Starting his career in the Los Angeles, California area, Mr. Stiles was senior project manager for a mid-size consulting firm. He managed projects for large-scale clients including Disney Studios, UCLA, Duke Energy, Inglewood Unified School District, Santa Monica College, Loyola Marymount University, Forest Lawn Memorial-Parks, Warner Bros. Studios and the United States Postal Service.
Moving to Colorado in 2006, Mr. Stiles worked with several consulting firms in the Denver metro area before starting his own owner-operated company. Having established a quality reputation, Scott maintains on going relationships with clients including the Us Air Force Academy, Sheridan VA Medical Center, Highlands Ranch Parks and Recreation, Wildernest Property Management and Paul Davis 24 Emergency Services. With a clientele base of general contractors, restoration contractors, insurance companies and property managers, Scott and his team support projects of all sizes and scope. Stiles Environmental will also provide staff on a sub-contract basis to larger environmental consulting and engineering firms.
Joseph H. Knowles, Geologist
Joseph H. Knowles, has over 35 years of experience in the industrial hygiene and environmental industry. Joe is a lifetime resident of Colorado and graduated from the University of Colorado with a BS in Geology. Joe’s intricate knowledge of regulations covering asbestos, lead, underground storage tanks, soil and water contamination and the remediation process has proven invaluable throughout his project management career. Having worked closely with governing bodies, general contractors, industry and homeowners, clients such as City and County of Denver, Qwest/Century Link, Buckley Air Force, URS, Church of Latter Day Saints, NIST and Brown & Caldwell have all benefitted from Joe’s expertise and insight.
Renee Stiles
Office Manager, Project Manager
Renee assists with sample collection, air monitoring and technical report writing. Using skills she has acquired while working towards a Business Management degree, Renee performs administrative tasks for Stiles Environmental and Industrial Hygiene.
